CLOSED - Don Don Down On Wednesday Kanazawa Tatemachi Branch
National chain classic clothing store. Kanazawa Tatemachi store in Don Don Down On Wednesday. Located on the second floor of the building.
It's not that big, but it's full of products. We carry both women's and men's. I didn't get the impression that it was very cheap, but the product has a wide range of styles. Somehow, the impression that there was little vintage, second-hand feeling.
Used Clothing HONEY
Although it says it's a second-hand clothing store, it feels more like a general store for street culture, including tattoos and skateboards.

Honestly, it's not an easy atmosphere to enter, but there were some good taste items. There are a few second-hand clothes, but the number of products is not large, and it feels like a select shop.
When I visited, the staff was getting a tattoo done, and I had the rare experience of looking around the store while the tattoo was being done.
Secondhand clothing store GROOVY
A standout shop on Tatemachi Street. GROOVY is so famous that some people think of second-hand clothing stores in Katamachi.

2 floors, 1st floor and 1st basement floor. This is my personal favorite store in the Katamachi area of Kanazawa for its second-hand clothing and vintage items. The atmosphere of the store clerk is also good.
A wide range of items from nylon jackets to Ralph Lauren clothing, leather jackets, and accessories. It was a good shop with many second-hand clothes priced at several thousand yen. The 1st basement floor is a sale corner, and used clothes for around 1,000 yen are lined up.
wax clothing
wax clothing on the south side has a store on the second floor, and you can go up the stairs.

It's a little hard to understand, but the iron-grid stairs are cool. Used clothes and new clothes are about half and half, men's main. It feels like a select shop that also handles second-hand clothes. Many of the brands they carry and used clothes on display are of good quality, and although they are not cheap, they are worth seeing.
GENT (formerly LAUNCH)
Men's main used clothing store GENT. There was a lot of vintage, and there were a lot of valuable old clothes.

The stairs at the entrance of the store are a little confusing, but it's located on Google Maps, so you can find it if you go. You can look around the spacious store at your leisure. It's interesting to hear the knowledge of old clothes from the friendly staff.
It's not a 1000 yen product, but it's worth the price. There were many cool products.
ATTIC MIRROR
The attic mirror is located on a corner and has a cool appearance.
It's mainly women's, but there are also men's products, and there were quite a few women's products that could be worn by men. The price was a few thousand yen, not expensive, and there were many items with good taste.
I'm glad that the clerk was friendly and talked to me about various things. We talked about the comparison with second-hand clothing stores in Tokyo. Patterned and jacket-style items were cool.
STOCK ORIGINALS KANAZAWA
STOCK ORIGINALS KANAZAWA with its large glass windows. Atmosphere that is easy to enter.

There were a lot of good old clothes! It's expensive, but I feel like I'm choosing good old clothes properly. The neat and organized store was easy to see. We also carry some new items.
Small items such as sunglasses and silver accessories were also substantial.
Second Street Takayanagi Branch
Not in the Katamachi area, but Second Street Takayanagi store is a short distance from Kanazawa Station. be.
It's not possible to go on foot, so in my case, I'm going to rent a bicycle in Kanazawa City along with Hard Off and Select Recycled Mugi, which will be described later. Machi-nori”.
It is very convenient because it can be used with the Docomo Bike Share app, which is also available in the Tokyo metropolitan area. It was electric, and it was very useful in Kanazawa, where it is difficult to move around without a bus or car. Convenient access to the Katamachi area from Kanazawa Station. In fact, it's faster than the bus.
Machi-Nori - Kanazawa City Public Share Cycle
Second Street Takayanagi is a one-story building, but it's quite spacious. Daily necessities and used clothes are about half and half.
It was pretty good with a large selection of both ladies' and men's. I've been there twice in a few months, but it doesn't seem like the turnover of merchandise is very fast. A wide selection of second street items, from cheap used clothes for around 1,000 yen to brand-name items.
Kanazawa is a place where you can enjoy the outdoors, and fishing and camping equipment are also available.
There were a number of musical instruments, but the impression was that there were many for beginners.
Hard Off Kanazawa Moroe Store (Mode Off, Off House)
The suburban store type Hard Off Kanazawa Moroe store is an eco-town brand. operation. It is a comprehensive recycle shop with hard-off, mode-off, and off-house. It may be a little disappointing if it's an antique spot, but there are so many that there may be a bargain.
This is also a distance to go by rental cycle. Machi-Nori rental bicycles in Kanazawa City are electric, so you can easily go anywhere.
There is a lot of junk on the second floor.
The instruments were quite substantial. There are some guitars that cost more than 100,000 yen, so the selection is not bad.
Hard off is next to Kanazawa's famous 8th ramen, so have lunch here.
Select Recycled Wheat
Thrift shop with nice antiques. It's not a second-hand clothing store, but I liked it so much that I wanted to introduce it. If you go to Kanazawa, be sure to stop by Select Recycle Mugi.
It's within walking distance from Higashi-Kanazawa station, but it's quite inconvenient because there aren't many trains. If you have time, you can take the train from Kanazawa Station to Higashi-Kanazawa Station and walk to both Second Street and Mugi.
Anyway, lots of nice antiques.
All kinds of old miscellaneous goods are sold.
There is also a furniture corner in the back of the shop where large shelves are sold. There are many old antiques, but depending on the item, the price is surprisingly low, making it a conscientious shop.
I have visited several times, but I end up shopping a lot each time. The store clerk is also very friendly, and it's a cozy place that makes you want to stay for hours.
When I visited at the beginning of the year, whale bones were being sold. About 130,000 yen. And it's been sold. I'm surprised how I can purchase such a thing and who will buy it (laughs). It's a fun shop just to see things like this.
