Kurarin Vintage shop guide

A local Japanese vintage clothing lover introduces Japanese vintage shops. I visited second clothing stores in various regions and recommend the best ones.

21 recommended BEST vintage clothing thrift stores in Akita station, JAPAN

I went to a vintage shop in Akita City, Akita Prefecture. Akita City, where Akita Station is located. The city has the largest population in the prefecture and has prospered since ancient times with government offices and downtown areas. There are several kimono shops around Akita Station and others within a short drive. There are several Second Streets in the suburbs, all of which can be visited in one day by car. Bicycle rental is free at the tourist information center at Akita Station. A second-hand clothing store a little far from the station can also be accessed by bicycle.

Akita Station has several second-hand clothing stores near the west exit. There are about 7 stores within walking distance. There are several stores in a slightly distant place on the east side. If you don't have a car, you can easily get around by renting a bicycle at the tourist information center.

Regular second-hand clothes, mainly American second-hand clothes. There are current used clothes from around the 00s, but there are also regular vintage items from the 80s to 90s, such as USA-made sweatshirts, nylon jackets, and Levi's. Most of the prices range from 3,000 to 8,000 yen, and I even found used clothes that were cheaper than the market price.

Ladies' used clothing is also available. Retro dresses are available.

If you go to the back of the building, is there a game center? I found an entrance on the side.

There is an uplifting feeling like a multi-tenant building in Hong Kong. Mainly recycled old clothes. A lot of ladies. They also sell used books and CDs. It's about 100 to 500 yen, so it's cheap anyway.

BGM is K-ON! "Fude Pen ~Ball Pen~" was playing loudly. When I was playing the selected version of Mio-chan's vocal song in the play, I thought that the store clerk understood, and my tension increased.
