I went to an unmanned Automaton vintage clothing store in Mejiro Station, near Ikebukuro! There are three unstaffed vintage clothing stores in Mejiro Station. Each store has its own characteristics and is interesting to look at. There are second-hand clothing stores with vintage and mod style themes, and there are surprisingly many second-hand clothing stores in Mejiro that are worth seeing. I went to all the vintage clothing stores around Mejiro, Shiinamachi, Shimochiai, and Zoshigaya Station!

Next station, Ikebukuro station's second-hand clothing store summary is on other article.

DUST AND ROCKS

Japan's proud mod band, THE COLLECTORS guitarist Kotaro Furuichi. It is wonderful that Rickenbacker is displayed in the store.

DUST AND ROCKS

A short walk from Mejiro Station. The store clerk was very friendly and I was able to enjoy looking at it.

It looks like you're in England from the look of the store. The mint green wallpaper and product display inside the store reminds me of a vintage shop on Liverpool Street. There are also clothes and goods designed by Kotaro Furuichi, as well as rare European select items.

f:id:kurakurakurarin1991:20220306201638j:plain

There are so many American 90s Levi's dead stock! terrible!

f:id:kurakurakurarin1991:20220306201641j:plain

There are many select items that feel mainly European second-hand clothes and mod style. Vintage military wear and euro vintage are also available. Inside, you'll find classic vintage items such as Levi's denim, jackets, and Euro military.

Men's and unisex vintage clothes are the main items, but there are also women's and children's vintage corners. I've never seen a store that stocks so many kids' size vintage clothes.

f:id:kurakurakurarin1991:20220306201655j:plain

Anyway, they have a lot of vintage clothes in stock, and it's wonderful to see. Denim and slacks are piled up and outstanding. In particular, we have a large inventory of regular vintage denim such as US Levi's and LEE.

A short walk from Furugi Shrine. It's a short walk from Mejiro Station, but if you combine it with Treasure Factory Style, you can see three second-hand clothing stores at the same time. Operated by Daruman Co., Ltd.

Prices are determined for each hanger, starting at 1,480 yen.

f:id:kurakurakurarin1991:20220306201553j:plain

It's not very spacious, but the racks are arranged in two levels, one above the other, and there are many products. There are both women's and men's clothes, but there are many unisex regular used clothes.

f:id:kurakurakurarin1991:20220306201601j:plain

There is also a fitting room, and having a bench is a good impression. I didn't think it would be so much fun to be able to see old clothes slowly without people.

f:id:kurakurakurarin1991:20220306201627j:plain

We also have a used clothing remake product business, and we also sell remake products.

f:id:kurakurakurarin1991:20220306201613j:plain

I thought it would be mostly recycled used clothes, but I was surprised to find that there were a lot of authentic regular vintage used clothes lined up.

Although it is located along Mejiro Dori, it is a short walk from Mejiro Station. Just a 10 minute walk. Within walking distance from Shiinamachi Station and Shimochiai Station.

f:id:kurakurakurarin1991:20220306201520j:plain

There are many women's items, but men's items are also available. As cheap as 300 yen for all items. However, there are also quite good regular vintages mixed in, which is interesting to watch. There aren't many products, but there were some old clothes that caught my attention. T-shirts and sweatshirts made in the US, sports brands such as Adidas and Nike, military wear that is probably Euro vintage, and Showa retro women's patterned shirts.

At the time of my visit, clothes from casual brands such as Dickies, Levi's, 23 Ward, Zara, Sneijder, Lohr Ashley, and Earth Music and Ecology were 300 yen. There are many cheap but beautiful clothes, and the quality is high.

f:id:kurakurakurarin1991:20220306201530j:plain

Completely unmanned sales, as the name of the secondhand shrine suggests, the payment is put in the offertory box. All second-hand clothes are 300 yen, but it is interesting that you can add your feelings and pay. Payment is cash only.

It's managed by a surveillance camera, and it's completely unmanned, but if you ring the intercom, the store clerk will come.

f:id:kurakurakurarin1991:20220306201758j:plain

It's not a large store, but it has a large inventory of used clothes. The rack is 2 tiers and the aisles are narrow! There are many men's and unisex second-hand clothes, but there are also corners for women's and children's clothing. Recycled old clothes are around 1,000 to 2,000 yen. If it's a famous brand or made in the US, it's around 3,000 to 5,000 yen. Still cheaper overall than second hand market.

Prices are assigned to each product, and it is characterized by regular vintage used clothes around the 90s. I found Patagonia, 90s old Adidas, US Pendleton flannel shirts, US L.L.Bean, Burberry, Champion, North Face, Carhartt, Dickies and more.

f:id:kurakurakurarin1991:20220306201732j:plain

The women's corner has a lot of beautiful recycled clothes that are more casual. Brooks Brothers suits were cool. There is a bag 500 yen corner in the back.

f:id:kurakurakurarin1991:20220306201735j:plain

Because each product has a barcode tag, checkout is similar to the self-radio system in supermarkets.

f:id:kurakurakurarin1991:20220306201802j:plain

It's completely unmanned, but there was an intercom, so I wonder if they're waiting nearby? In case of emergency, you can contact us via LINE.

f:id:kurakurakurarin1991:20220306201804j:plain

It seems that it is possible to pay by credit card, although it seems that it will take time if it is cash only or if you contact us by LINE.

A medium-sized store with a large back. The number of stocks is impressive enough. Both women's and men's available. We have a wide range of price ranges, from branded items to recycled clothing. There were many casual brand items, and there were not many second-hand clothes under 1,000 yen, but brand recycling around 3,000 to 10,000 yen was substantial.

f:id:kurakurakurarin1991:20220306201512j:plain

Overall, I didn't feel the price was high. At the time of my visit, there were many sale items and many half-price items. I found some vintage military items in the back of the store. There were military vintages such as Danish and Swedish army field coats. There were also a few other items that caught my attention, such as a 60s nylon jacket and vintage reproduction Levi's. The inside of the store is spacious and easy to see.
